New Point Campground, situated at the Horn Harbor entrance to Cheasapeake Bay, is open to the cool, clean, salty breezes drifting off the Bay. So varied and plentiful is the fishing, that the campground is an official weighing station for the State of Virginia.

The New Point comfort light was built in 1804 and can be viewed from a nearby observation pier.
