Fawn Valley Inn, Estes Park, Colorado
Fawn Valley Inn offers a variety of accommodations for families and groups. These include fully-equipped condominiums with fireplaces and private balconies, Jacuzzi and hot tub suites, and a romantic cabin for two. Our eight and one-half acres lie on the Fall River Canyon between Deer and McGregor Mountains, a nature haven for wildlife. The property is bordered by 1,200 feet of the beautiful Fall River on the North, and each room has a view of the river.
Our resort is located on highway 34, about 6 minutes from the downtown Estes Park shopping and recreation areas. We are on the river side of the road, less than 1/2 mile from the Fall River entrance to the magnificent Rocky Mountain National Park. You will appreciate the views from your deck and the sound of the cascading Fall River adds to the ambience of quiet mountain evenings.
Springtime in the Estes Valley arrives in early May. The mountains and surrounding areas are filled with wildflowers and the wildlife abounds in the Fall River Canyon. The peace and quiet of the spring months make the perfect setting for family reunions or romantic getaways.
Summers are tempered by comfortable warm daytime temperatures. Nights are cool, quiet and you'll see every star in the sky. Our outdoor pool is open from early June through September. It is maintained at about 80 degrees and has chaise lounges for high country sun bathing. Our eight person hot tub is kept at 104 degrees and is for adult use only. Summers are the perfect time for families to gather and enjoy the splendor of the Rockies. Our facilities cater to family groups as well as single families.
Fall offers he best in wildlife viewing. Big Horn sheep come down from the high country to feed on the last of the summer grasses. Elk bugling is at it's height and deer make their residence in the valley. After a full day of hiking or shopping, returning to your fully equipped condo or cabin, lighting a fire and just kicking back feels like coming home. The fall is also a wonderful time of year for weddings. The ponderosa pines provide a beautiful backdrop for the golden glow of the changing aspen trees.
Winter - We developed our winter packages with a desire to share this wonderful and quiet time in the Rockies. The days are generally bright and sunny. Snow permanently covers the surrounding mountain peaks and brings the wildlife to our doorstep.
